Mary Quinn is a professional actor, improviser, and educator whose performance journey began at Fort Lewis College. She discovered her passion for improv in the local comedy scene, performing with Durango Dot Comedy before relocating to Chicago to further develop her craft. While there, she trained at The Second City, iO Theater, and The Annoyance Theatre.
Mary is the owner of Lower Left Improv and has had the privilege of performing in Chicago, New York City, Seattle, and Tampa. She is the creator of the original one-woman show Felony Ever After and is also an active performer in the drag scene under her persona, Chad.
Her stage credits include Danny and the Deep Blue Sea with Durango Arts Center, Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties with Unsought Theatre, and Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche with Durango Arts Center. Her sketch work includes Catholic Guilt, Finding Their Roots, and Mind Your Manners.
Now based in Tampa, Mary is excited to continue performing, teaching, and creating new work.
Andrea Rossi
Andrea Rossi is a Durango-based comedian, improviser, and comedy writer, whose style has been described as “hilariously heartbreaking.” She’s won several comedy competitions, opened for Josh Fournier and Hailey Hackett, and was named one of the Top Comics to Watch by her mom and therapist.
She considers herself one of the fastest-rising stand-up comedians in her neighborhood, and regularly performs at Durango, Colorado dive bars. Say hello @hiandrearossi.

Lower Left Studio

The Lower Left Studio is conveniently located in the Main Mall in Downtown Durango. We’re on the second floor behind the Guild House Games store. This is our home for all classes and rehearsals.
The Durango Arts Center (DAC) is our regular home for improv and other major performances. Our monthly shows and Student Showcases are open to the public and take place on the main stage at DAC.
The Sunflower Theater is our comedy outpost in Cortez. Designed for multiple uses — live music, film, lectures, and theatre – the space is located in the historic Montezuma Valley National Bank Building!
